Between the Lines is BOOKGROOVE's flagship gathering — an evening where literature meets music in an intimate setting. Expect curated book recommendations, vinyl DJ sets that pair with the night's reading theme, spontaneous conversations with fellow curious minds, and the kind of atmosphere you'll want to come back to.

The Concept

Each "Between the Lines" edition explores a theme through both books and music. Vol. 1 centres on the idea of "Cities & Sound" — how the places we live shape what we read and listen to. From Orhan Pamuk's Istanbul to Haruki Murakami's Tokyo, from Brazilian bossa nova to Istanbul's underground electronic scene.

What should I bring? Just yourself and an open mind. If you have a book to exchange, bring that too! Is there a dress code? No dress code. Come as you are. Can I buy tickets at the door? Subject to availability. We recommend purchasing in advance via Shopier. Is food available? The venue serves drinks and light snacks. Full dinner is not available. Can I get a refund?
